Ingredients
Blondies
Ingredients: Brown Sugar (sugar, Molasses), Semi-sweet Chocolate
(sugar, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin [an Emulsifier],
Vanilla), Wheat Flour (milled Wheat, Malted Barley Flour), Vanilla
Baking Powder (sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Corn
Starch, Monocalcium Phosphate), Salt.
Directions
What you will need:
First:
preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch (20.3 cm) square pan
and dust with flour or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Soften (but
do not completely melt) 3/4 stick (6 tbsp.) of butter in microwave.
Mix:
in a large bowl, whisk together softened butter and the egg. Using a
spoon or rubber spatula, fold the mix into egg mixture until just
combined. Do not over mix the ingredients. Fold in half of the chocolate
chip packet.
Pour: spread batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the remainder of the chocolate chips over the batter surface.
Bake:
bake 15-20 minutes, or until the top is shiny and feels firm to the
touch. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Makes about 16 blondies.
For
a 9 in (22.9cm) square pan: For thinner blondies, mix as directed
above, then spread into the prepared baking pan. Bake 12-15 minutes, or
until top is shiny and feels firm to the touch. Cool completely. Cut
into bars.
