1980, we created a beer highlighting the bold flavors and piney-citrus
aromas of whole-cone Cascade hops. The quality, craftsmanship, and
flavors helped change the face of American brewing. Today, our
all-natural, bottle-conditioned Pale Ale is recognized worldwide as a
classic.

Pale
Ale began as a homebrewer’s dream, grew into an icon, and inspired
countless brewers to follow a passion of their own. Its unique piney and
grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops have
fascinated beer drinkers for decades and made this beer a classic. Like
our bottles, these cans undergo a secondary fermentation in the package
which naturally carbonates the beer, protects against oxygen and
develops great flavors over time. The durability and portability of Pale
Ale in cans make them ideal for outdoor adventures and simple to pack
out the empties.
