The
Americas.Alma de la Tierra is Spanish for Soul of the Earth, and the
“soul” of this coffee is found in the high-altitude regions of Latin
America, where we work with the finest organic farms from Guatemala to
Colombia.
Our
Story. It all started on Vine and Walnut Streets in Berkeley,
California, where Alfred Peet opened his first shop in 1966 with one
goal: to make coffee unlike anything America had tasted before.Today, we
abide by his exacting standards to deliver the richest, most flavorful
cup—using only the world’s finest beans, hand roasting in small batches,
and never compromising on freshness.
People
& Planetâ„¢For decades, Peet’s has been committed to supporting our
coffee-growing communities. We work tirelessly to source all our coffees
in a responsible manner, and our People & Planet coffees highlight
our dedication to provide remarkable quality while caring for farmers
and the environment.
